Working on a 73 450 SE (w116.032, m117.983).
Is the cylinder arraingement 1-4 on the right head and 5-8 on left head? If so, I have some questions: Engine runs way too rich; all plugs are black; all plugs are gas fouled except cyls. # 2 and # 6. Is there a fuel enrichment set-up on this model? How about a coolant temp. sensor for the injectors? Anyone care to give a detailed procedure to this ASE Master Tech. Unfortunately I do not specialize in german engine repair; my specialty is japanese makes. All help is greatly appreciated. |
