On U.S cars the alarm system is integrated into locking systems. Many times the infrared key itself is the problem, as they don't transmit the correct signal. Also the US cars have DAS (drivers auth system) that sends sigals to fuel system when the correct signal is received from key. Most dealers have computer system to diagnose problems w/these systems.

WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE FOR TWO TRANSMITTERS TO BE FAULTY EVEN WHEN I CAN LOCK THE DOORS REMOTELY WITH THEM
