Thanks to metricman on the quick reply. On this '73 450 SE there is a couple of water leaks...one area has a trickle from windshield gasket; no big deal. The other area seems to have a leak originating from outside cowl vent; there is a pool of water sitting inside blower motor housing..was there a modification for this problem?

You're welcome.
If there is water puddling in the blower housing, the water drain(s) are probably plugged with leaves/debris of some kind. I would check the fresh air inlet in front of the windshield, there should be water drains up there, and if plugged maybe the water came in from there. I do not know if there was any modification of the blower housing on a W116 chassis, that was before my time.... well, not really...I just don't remember. Besides, I was out West back then and it never rains in California..... ------------------ |
