Spark plug boot replacement on W140
Hey guys,
I am wrapping up the 90k service on my 95 s 420 and noticed a spark plug boot in need of replacement. I ordered the part along with all the other tune up parts from fastlane but when I received the part it wasn't obvious as to how it installed. I figured that there would be some type of retainer that held the wire in place in the boot but I could not find anything. Does the old boot have to be cut off and the plug wire stripped and inserted into the new boot? Thanks in advance! Brian |

the plug end just screws on to the wire. hold the wire and unscrew the end just like a bolt. when installing, don't overtighten and give it a little tug to verify correct installation.
