How to replace Air Flow Meter?

Hi all,

Well I finally tracked down a myriad of faults with my 2.5 16v. A nuked O2 sensor and an intermittant Air Flow Meter potentiometer. The 02 sensor has been replaced and now I'm onto the AFM. Can someone walk me through replacing this?

I'm getting a new unit from MB. Do I need to calibrate the Pot? I hope not - ? I suppose I have to centralise and set zero position on the plate? Also I guess I have to retune the Car. Am I ok too do this via EHA ma and pin 3 of X11? Are there any mechanical "gotchas" I should be aware of?

Cheers
Neil
