2002 Clk 320

Hi,
My car vibrates a little when I'm sitting in idle. I've taken it to two different dealerships and they claim that their diagnostic test do not show any problems. However, the vibrating is very noticeable to myself and anyone who rides in the passenger side.
One of the dealerships even replaced the motor mounts, but said that they weren't the problem.

THEN WHAT IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM??!!! Is anyone else having this same problem??

Thanks

I drove a 02 Clk 320 for 2 months trying to diagnose a sporatic
fault on a buy-back car. I noticed the idle was fairly rough when
compared to an E320. I checked several other CLK's and they were identical. We have tried new motor mounts (no fix), but this seems to be common with the CLK V-6.

There is however a software flash for your engine control module
that came out not to long ago. This fixes some quirks in the
ME 2.8 SFI control unit and may be worth investigating.
Give your service advisor a call to see if your car applies.

Good luck.

I have an 02 clk 320 and it just started the rough idle. It has 52K miles, runs great and gets 30mpg's. The only thing I've heard is it might be the Mass AirFlow Sensor. I found you can buy a rebuilt for this car, maybe thats it but I'm not dropping $200 just to see.
