how to remove cracked headlight rims 89 300e

Anyone, how do you remove the headlight rims on a 89 300e.

Open the hood and remove the panel below the headlight by removing the 8mm hex screws at either end. Remove the air duct from the inboard side on the passenger side headlight. Remove the outer lens that covers the fog light and acts as its lens. Then pry then you can get to the headlight lens. I can't remember, but I think there are clips that you have to pop loose with a screwdriver. I know that's how to change them on Euro lights.

If you get the panel out of the way, I think you'll be able to see what it will take. It's not too difficult.

If it is cracked, be careful or wear thick leather gloves.
