passenger side window trouble

I have a 300sd and the passenger side front window is stuck up. How do I check if the motor for the passenger side window is working and how do i check for problems with the regulator? Also how can I safely remove the motor and regulator while keeping the glass secure? thanks I've got the door panel off already.

The other day it seemed like i heard a click when I pushed the button. Now it seems quiet although the dome light dims a little bit. Is there some way i could jery rig a light bulb and some wires to test if the switch works?

you could try swapping the driver's side window switch with the passenger side one.

if the window works ,then you know that you either have a faulty switch or a dirty one.

there is also one fuse for each of them front window motors in the main fuse box-check these out as well before condeming the moor/regulator.

Fuses are good. I swapped the switches and still nothing so the switch is fine. It seems like the motor might be dead because there doesn't seem to be any sound comming from it now.

I had the same problem. I tried the switch by connecting the switch that would not run the passinger side window into the drivers sisde window and it worked. I realized that it had to be either the wiring leading to the passinger side window or the passinger side window motor. I tested the wiring by removing the passinger side door panel. After removing it you will see a connection terminal at about 7 o-clock. I wired a 12 voly light bulb up to the green wire terminal and held the base of the bulb on the black wire terminal. She pushed the switch and the light came bulb came on. Then I realized it had to be the motor. Any idea where I can buy on at reasonably?
