I have just purchased a set of 7.5x16 offset ET35 alloy's and unfortunately the tyres rub the inner wing when braking hard or going over bumps/dips in the road. They are fitted with 205.50.16 tyres and all the accessory dealers I've spoken to assure me this is the correct combination. The car is lowered so perhaps its lowered too much ? or have I got incorrect wheels/tyres ?? All the MB dealers I've spoken to have differing opinions so I'm confused ! If the car is too low will I have to change the springs completely or can I adjust with spring rubbers ? any help would be much appreciated.
