Where the heck is the monovalve on a 560sl??

I had to replace the low side a/c pressure hose and expansion valve (it was clogged) now the dang thing blows heat all the time. It's like driving in hell.... (grin)

I haven't refreshed the R134 yet, still waiting on my new evaporator to arrive.

Does the a/c system have anything to do with the monovalve??

thanks!

Hi Michael,

while I'm not familiar with your car, on a 1987 420 SEL it is next to the battery toward the middle of the car. It is the squarish thing to the right of the hose. There are four screws and it comes out. I would think it looks the same on your car.
