My car's a 1970 250C with wood dash trim that's in terrible shape. I want to remove it to have it fixed up.
But among other things I need to separate the ducting behind the dash from the round vents (near doors). I've removed the glove box and peeked around at the passenger side duct. It's not obvious how the duct detaches from the vent unless it just pulls off. I didn't notice any clamps. Can I do it without breaking it?. Any other tips on what I need to do to remove those wood panels would be much appreciated. My car will look so much more spiffy when that wood is all gleamed up. TIA Paul Berk |
