Where is the coolant temp sensor on a M119?

Does anybody know where the coolant temp sensor is on a M119 (1994 E420)? I had my thermostat replaced because the temp was reading low, after the new one, it's better, but still stays around 60 degrees.

Thanks,

Craig

I believe there are 2 temp sensors, one for the gauge and one for the engine management computer. They are at the front of the engine under the plastic piece in front of the air cleaner. Should be fairly easy to figure out which is which -- disconnect one at a time and watch the temp gauge.
