Describe the trouble.

The pulley only needs to be unbolted. What back cover are you referring to? (The pump, itself, is also just bolted together.)

i've removed the ring but the cover seems to be stuck in; u sure i don't need a pulley remover for the pulley? i must have a different pump, b/c mine is solid; no bolts or anything that i can readily see

By ring, do you mean the small ring on the impeller shaft?

nope.. haven't even gotten that far ... on my pump there's a metal ring around the back cover... i've gotten the ring off.. but no luck on the cover... i've used a c-clamp to push it down and see if anything's impeding it.. but no luck....

i think it's just time for me to get a new one

thanks for your help!!!!

when you did the reseal on the vickers did you remove the plug on the right side of the pump? the plug is about 1.25 across and i was wandering what is under that plug. the reseal kit comes with a brass seal for the plug but i do not know whats under it?
