In my 89 300E, my ABS fault indicator light on the dashboard sometimes won't go out after starting the engine. I notice, when the light stays on, that the engine is hard to start, and hesitates during acceleration. When sometimes the light goes out, the engine idle smooth and hesitation is gone.
