my 300 e was causing trouble, missing and generally playing up, would suddenly start to miss and on one occasion stalled on me,
it would lose total power and would battle to pull itself along. Information from this forum suggested resistor ends on the spark plugs, low and behold check to-day revealed one resistor end defunct....... ordered new set. One replaced to get me going and everything appears back to normal, no miss and no stall ![]() worth a bit of a look. gd. |

Hello, Iam sorry for late reply, just back from holidays........resistor ends can only be check on machine unless you are lucky enough for the miss to start while mechanic is having a look. Mine was then checked and the offending one located... mine would only miss occasionaly and it would lose all power and miss very badly. It may be wise to replace all of the ends as they can break down and cause this type of probl;em. I have not had a miss in the car since replacing them. they are prone to break down after some time, they will do many thousands of Ks before trouble...... Best of luck with the problem. regards Graeme D.
