The manual states the fan clutch engages when the engine operating temperature is about 95 C. It also states that it can be clearly heard. I don't seem to be able to tell the difference or the clutch has failed. Further a sheet of kleenex barely clings to the aux fan housing when the engine has reached almost 100C.
Am I nuts or is the fan clutch a goner? ------------------ 1991 350 SDL 114,000 miles |
