Last 2 days I have been getting a loud squeak from my right fron wheelwell. I noticed it first when I turned the steering wheel, then as I hit bumps. If I push down on the right front bumper the squeak is reproducible as the car bounces up and down.
What do you guys think it is? shock, control arm? I know its hard to diagnose like this, but I want to be forarmed with a couple of possibilities when I take it to the mechanic. The wheel is not loose, and it is not coming from the brakes (which have full fluid in reservoir). BTW the shocks work good, no bouncing when I push down, and I dont see any hydraulic fluid leaking.
