The passenger seat in my 1990 190E 2.6 is stuck in the partially reclined position. Switch works to make it recline further, but not to bring it back up again. Is there a way to manually crank the thing back up?

My 1995 E220 had the same problem. What I did was to open up the switch buttons and did a 'lil cleaning... the contacts were dirty.

You can take the buttons off of the swithc and spray in some contact cleaner and it might help...IF not replace the switch.

Thanks! Cleaning the switch contacts worked great. Seat now works better than before!
