W126 questions--sunroof and lower cladding

Haven't had time to thoroughly go thru my "new" W126/ 300SD. ( 142,700 miles, NEW MB engine at 135,XXX miles)
Sunroof----opens electrically, but must be closed by the screw---Is there a link on removing and cleaning the sunroof and its motor?
Lower body cladding---Main problem with the car is clear coat peeling; I need to do a comnplete repaint. How does the lower body cladding come off? Are the clips reuseable, or sacrificial?
