How true. My wife avoided the 190 until I did the same adjustments. Now she goes on about it all the time, can't believe what a fun drive it is etc. Honestly, I makes me happy to hear.

We bought ours from a junk yard for $1k. Needs (needed) a ton of TLC but basically a good car. Remarkable really. Huge education for me.

quick fix

Haasman, this worked really well by the way. As others have posted this vastly improved the ride. It used to shift at 1.8K rmp and now holds it past a sort of sweet spot up around 2.4k rpm, thanks for the help!

Is there anyway I can get this info? I have a 1990 190E 2.6 and sent a PVT message to the fellowwwwww but never got a reply. I am having a late shifting problem and don't even know here to find the darn cable???
