Replacing my AT Protection Switch
I've been watching this bugger for a year. Have had a slow drip of tranny fluid. Recently it's gotten a little worse so I went ahead and ordered the part. Due in Monday via UPS.
Has anyone ever replaced this part before? Wondering if I will loose the fluid when I pull the old plug out. Can I minimize the loss of fluid when I change the part out by Jacking up the car from the left (driver's) side and changing it out while the car is unlevel? Of course, this will be done with jack stands under both the front and rear. Thanks a bunch everybody. |
