I recently saw a commercial in Speed Vision about this K&N filter. The company makes the filter claims it will boost your hp. Does anybody has any experience with this porduct? And does it really work? I have been thinking about trying the filter out, but don't know if it will harm the car since it's not OEM filter. Or does it matter if you do not use OEM filter?

A clean OEM filter will boost your horsepower just as well. Marketing hype. Just lower resistance and more laminar airflow in the K&N. You wouldn't notice the difference. I tried one on my BMW. Couldn't feel any difference. Go figure.

There have been numerous posts and ongoing debates about this on this BB. I suggest you do a search to get the full history. In my opinion, regular Airfilter maintenance is the key and best answer.
