I am highly interested on installing a LSD in a 230.4 W115
The car is modified in engine and now needs a nice lim. slip differential. Since I know that such lsd doesnt exists for that car , Id like to collect any info available on fabricating a custom made limited slip differential . I found someone who created for a W114 a lsd from different model cars.... crown wheel and pinion from W114 (same as W115) diff housing from W123 and limited slip center from a W124. Does somebody ever realised , tried or knows something about that project? |

The only MB that I know of that used that size ring gear was the 190E 2.3-16V. However several W124 chassis in europe also used that same limited slip diff. 185MM ring gear.
That would require a 4mm spacer between the LSD carrier & the ring gear.
