Has anyone had any experience repairing this? It looks like it could be glued back in, but how?

I had a 85 300D and we glued in the vanity light with my wife's hot glue gun. It seemed to hold up !

Spinedoc, check with Atlanta Stuttgart Auto. I'll get the phone # for you. Speak with Dave. They have a great supply of all kinds of MB odds and ends. Bob, if the glass fell out, the hot glue will do the job, but, if the whole assy is out, then the wiring for lamps might be a problem. You didn't say if that was the case..

It's the whole plastic vanity mirror assembly that has come loose, hangs by the wires. (Light still works) I can wedge it back in, but it wants to pop out. It's almost as if the visor has warped (but doesn't look so). I can see where it was glued in originally, thick light yellow stuff.

Glue it with a 2-part Epoxy (thickest viscosity stuff you can find). I did so on my '88 2 1/2 years ago and it's still holding!
