Factory recalls
Where can I get info on MB recalls? Ordered a brake part for my 1987 280GE and dealer says my chassis number shows that the vehicle missed a brake recall earlier in its life. Dealer has sent modification parts but can't tell me how to fit them. Parts are a replacement for the valve that maintains pressure in the rear brake lines and a 14" length of brake pipe - but there's no way I can see to fit the pipe with the valve in anything like its original location. Anyone know where I can get help?

Thanks Larry. Good site but having searched it I realise that the 280GE isn't listed - presumably because it wasn't an official import to the US. I need a similar site but for Europe! Thanks again.
