Question about water pressure washers.
Dear friends:
I've seen some ads for $79 water pressure washers (electrical ones-1300 psi and 1.7 gpm) and some $300 washers (based on Honda engines-2200 psi and 2.5 gpm). I have always wanted some pressure washers for cleaning up the driveway etc... but wondered whether the electrical ones are strong enough for these purposes. How much stronger is a 1300psi/1.7 gpm pressure washer compared to a regular water noozle set at the Jet position? Thanks for your precious information. Best regards, Eric |

I bought a Karcher electrical pressure washer from Costco and it's strong enough for everything around the house. I've used it to clean years of dirt off of concrete patio floor, strip paint off of a wood fence and to powerwash upper floor windows from the ground level. Of course, being guys, it's hard to resist a gas motor!
