85 380 sl noisy air pump

noisy air pump at cold engine start,quiets down after warm up.can i lubricate this to quiet it down?just started doing this 2 days ago. engine has 67k...thanks any help appreciated.

I had the same noise on my pump. Two weeks later, the pump seized. Be on the lookout.
