c220 noise from fuel pump?

Hi Guys- Did a couple of searches without any luck. Just picked up a new-to-me 1995 c220 with 133k miles, Runs fine, but with the ignition on and engine not running there is a noise that's coming from the right/rear sounds like the fuel pump cycling. It stops when the engine is running. Is this normal? Thanks in advance for your time.
