w126 fuse #15 problem w/ alarm
Hi.. I was trying to fix my driver's window so I took off the door panel. Found that the rear teeth on the regulator has worn/broke off. So bummer.

You probably knocked the wires loose from the alarm switch on the door handle. I don't know what things look like in there so that's all I can offer.

I didn't ask -- is it the factory alarm or an aftermarket alarm? If it's the factory alarm and it's been working all this time, disconnect the alarm horn in the engine bay to reduce the level of scandal, fit the #15 fuse, then see if locking or unlocking the driver's door with the key turns the alarm off.

Anyone have a picture of this? Yes its the stock alarm. Do you think if the power seat switch has a loose wire would cause this?

As mentioned earlier, your alarm has what's called an "alarm horn" which is separate from the regular horns. It is a silver/grey round horn looking thingy. In my car, it is in the engine compartment on the right side. It shoud have 2 wires... one brown which is ground and the other is Black w/red stripe and pink dots. Disconnect that wire (or maybe just either) and that SHOULD disable the alarm horn. Then you can work in peace while you diagnose the problem.

Ok, just took a picture for you. In my 124, it's right in the very front driver side.

Willy... thanks for your help. I took the fuse out of #15 to quiete it down. I will most likely open the door up again to see what came loose or what not. If this fails.. I will just unplug the alarm

Right, but, before you start to diagnose, look for the alarm horn and unplug it. Then put the fuse back in.
