A/C pressure switch.

The pressure switch that turns on the auxilary fans at low speed when the A/C is engaged stopped working. I checked the trouble shooting manual and it says it is a pressure switch, however PartsShop lists it as an A/C temp switch. Can anyone tell me which one is it? If it is a pressure switch I will loose the A/C charge when I replace it, however if it is a temp. switch I might be able to replace it without loosing the freon (or the new R-134a).
Thanks for your help.

Alex
