windshield wipers running wont stop
1977 SEL 450 windshield wipers are running intermittently. They just started and now swipe the dry windshield. Nothing stops them. Any Ideas?

That could be inside of the wiper motor(park stop switch) or the intermittant relay sticking.

Mine started doing the same thing today after I cleaned the engine bay. Obviously, I got the contact/relay wet and it is has constant current OR something similar. However, I CAN NOT find this thing.
With the wiper going (on intermittent -- thank God it isn't stuck on fast!) I have pulled every relay and fuse I can find. Where the heck is this thing? 1991 190E 2.6 Fast help is mucho appreciated. I have to drive in NFL traffic in about 2 hours. Thanks
