special fittings for MB A/C
Does a 1979 300SD take a different fitting than all other r-12 cars? I was at my mom's cousin's house when his gauges wouldn't fit my 300SD. He used them on his '89 Ford Ranger. I asked a guy at Autozone, and he said that they didn't sell any r-12 fittings. Is it that Ford is different than the others or is Mercedes different from the others? Then where could I get this fitting? Dealership is probably out of the question.
Thanks David P.S. You guys are the greatest and were one of my defending arguments as to why I should in fact get a Mercedes-Benz.
