Unhappy LATCH Retrofit

Has anyone done this? I stopped by the local dealership to enquire. They ordered the part for me. I waited until the dealership called to tell me that the part was in to make a service appointment.
They kept my car for four days and returned it saying they ordered the wrong part and that the parts for my car were on back order. They said they would contact me when the parts were in stock.

It has been two months now. I am still waiting.

Just curious. The car seat rides in the Passat now anyway. Would be nice for the "guys" in hang out in the Benz.
