DTC Code 13 E320
On one of my E320's I have a code 13 on pin 8 which the book says is O2S system is either too lean or rich and the cause is intake air leak, fuel injectors, or diaphragm pressure regulator.
The car does seem to stumble when starting cold, and I believe it misses when accelerating until temps get up to normal. Also idles at about 600 RPm istead of the 750 or so at which my sedan idles. Any suggestions as to where to start diagnosing would sure be appreciated. Thanks, Allan |

A great deal is going to depend on the year and driveline of your car. For example:
The 1994-1995 E320 is the W124 body and the M104 engine. It is OBD-I. The 1996-1997 E320 is the W210 body with the 1996 car having the four speed automatic and the 1997 having the five speed. Both years are the M104 inline six, but I understand there are changes to the EFI system along the way. These cars, and those after are OBD-II The 1998-2002 E320 is the W210 body style with the M112 V-6 engine and the five speed 722.6 tranny. The 2003- E320 is the W211 body style with the M112 V-6 and 722.6. There are too many forms of "E320" for anyone to be of much help.

I would check the OVP Relay and the Fuel pump relay.
You may also want to check out the plug to coil connectors. Also, you can request the MB dealership to check the code using HTT and then you will know if the mixture is too rich or lean. You can also have them check the partial adaptation values. A Scope can tell you what's going on at each cylinder, (vaccum leaks, bad injectors, spark plugs). Fuel pressure check is also a good idea.
