Hi everyone,
First quesion is when I shift to reverse gear, it takes about 2 seconds to get in the gear, could anyone tell me why and how to solve it? Second question is Could anyone tell me how to take the driver side door pannel? Third question is when car starts move, I can hear the "clicking" noise from transmisson and car goes faster the noise goes faster until around 60mph/hour.( I think it's too fast that I can't hear it) but when I jack up the car and let it runs, there is no "clicking" noise, what is wrong with this? Please tell me how to solve these problems,I will be appreciated. Best/Wish Stephen |

The door panel is tricky. You have to snap some of it off with a fork tool. There are tabs that have to be slid upwards on the seat adjustment wood and there are bolts behind that.
On the click, if it is an axle shaft, it could be making noise when loaded only. ------------------ Benzmac: Donnie Drummonds 1992 500E (very soon I hope 1981 280GE SWB ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
