1986 190e 2.3-16 aux fan?

1986 190e 2.3-16 aux fan?

I would like to know if the original single fan setup for the aux fan can be swapped for the 2 aux fan setup I have seen on later 190's. Would it be all a remove and replace and direct fit moounting screws? Any insight is appreciated. Joe
