w124 seat rail ball bearings
The power drivers seat on my 1992 300D has been spitting ball bearings out of the right side seat rail. I put the seat all the way forward and looked at the left side. I see what appears to be a bearing in the rear end of the track. I can't see any bearings in the end of the right track. How did the bearings come out of the right track? I want to put them back in. I saw a post from a guy about this a few years ago but, nobody responded. Has anyone had experience with this? I would really appreciate some advise. Thanks.

I have checked with techs and they go back in but never stay in. You can get the part. I have replaced one, not too bad. Interestingly, my '86 300E with 168k miles is fine. My '92 300TE with 118k has lost both outboard ones, first the passenger, now the driver.
