Buzzing Noise in '97 E-320

My '97 E-320 makes a strange buzzing noise as soon as I start the car. It's buzzing from the roof section where the light switches and sunroof button are. When I turn the car off the buzz continues for a few seconds and then goes off.

Any ideas??

DJ

You'll see this small air intake up on that dome lamp assembly, inside that air intake is the interior temp sensor. There is a tiny little fan up in there to help draw air across the interior temp sensor. The little fan is probably making the noise.
You can remove the dome lamp assembly and remove the small fan, clean it up and lube it, or just replace it, it's available seperately.
