On my 190 e 2.3 1987 there is a lite that started coming on recently. The light is located to the left of the temperature display. It illuminates yellowish sort of light with a circle and and dots surrounding the circle. It's directly between the battery light and the brake light.
I dont have the manual, so if u could please lend a helping hand.
Like i said it just started coming on and im really concerned about it.

Thanks for the support on this site.

I have had this light come on in my 300CD during very very wet weather. After everything had a chance to dry out it went off. Normally it is telling you its time for new pads.

BTW what does it mean if u get the o2sensor lite coming on and off at diffrent intervals on a 190e 2.3 1987?
I just had the o2sensor replaced about 3 months ago.

Per my shop manual...at change of O2 sensor, the warning light in the panel should have been removed and taped over. The O2 sensor light comes on with a certain odometer reading, not a direct connection to the sensor.
If I am mistaken...the techs will clarify, I guarantee.
