Does anyone have the part # for the latest OV relay for an E320-124 chassis?
Mine is 000 540 52 45. Have had response
that the new one is 000 540 67 45, but now the local dealer says 000 540 37 45.
Any help is appreciated.
Arthur

You are correct & dealer is wrong. The GOOD replacement relay is 000-540-67-45.

It will cut out the voltage to some of the computers if a voltage spike is seen. It uses a fuse or fuses and a diode to do this.

I was reading through the Posts on this site. The OV regulator gets blamed for a large number of problems - ABS, fuel pump, AC, etc. - It sounds like you ought to replace it almost as a maintenance item. I did.
