Angry Rough Running 16V 190E

For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to sort an extremely rough running 190E 2.5 16V none CAT model. The original problem was rough running on idle and high hydro carbons. All the obvious, such as air leaks, plugs, cap, leads, rotor arm, valve clearance, valve seats and new injectors, have no difference what so ever. I'm tearing my hair out over this now!!

Help us Obi One - You're our only hope....................

I'm sure that the compression has been checked already but I didn't see that on your list. If not make sure to check the compression.

Try a new fuel filter. Fuel filter's really mess up a lot of older Benzes.

If anything, will improve your performance down the line.
