Could someone help an old man ? ( Can't get it up )

I can raise the hood on my 2000 C 230 to it's second position, but forgot how to release it to the totally vertical position.
Old age is a b#@*.

Go to the driver's side and pull the lever back and raise the hood slightly. Go to the passenger side and ease the hood down slightly so that you can pull the lever back, and then push the hood all the way up.

Thanks. I didn't want to force the hood, but when you look at it after its' up, it makes sense.

your a trip manny!!!! after the two latches are released like blackmercedes describes you can force it if need be. Right after I bought my wifes C230 I too was hesitant to give it the upward push it needed so I made my service manager do it. He just laughed at me!!
