W126 Trans Mount New vs. Old Picture

Thought I would share what an 18 year-old transmission mount looks like when compared to new. The swap was easy. With car raised, I braced the transmission so it would not drop when I remove the crossmember. 4 bolts on crossmember, two bolts on bottom of mount. One nut on top of mount. None were difficult at all to remove or replace. Literally a 15 minute job with the right tools in hand. It takes a 19 mm combination wrench and 17 mm and 15 mm socket wrench.

I will post engine mount pictures when I get around to doing them.
