Now that the weather is getting colder, my 2.8L 300e needs to crank 3 or 4 times before starting. And then only after slightly touching gas pedal.

Any ideas of what could need servicing? It has new plugs and always uses premium gas.

If the weather is below approx. 59degF, the cold start valve /injector should activate.
that could be your prob.
