Can I move hardtop back and forth while crusin at low speeds on SLK230?

I was just wondering if I can change the top back and forth at cursin speeds. What is the maximum speed I should be at before I wanna switch it if it is safe at all to change at ANY speed??

Not sure if the SLK behaves like the SL, but the car is smart enough to know what events are occuring at that speed.

For example, slowing down to 3mph from driving speed? No way! It requires you to stop first...then it will allow top operation at stop or proceeding very slowly.

Can do in reverse too...

Tech Help post in a few years; Please help, I accidentially pushed my top-down button on the expressway last night and the safety apparently failed because it opened. Do I have a bad relay?? Also see my post in the 'Parts' forum under 'parts wanted'.
