Failed vacuum locking system with a quirk
Hello friends, I need some advice --
My vacuum pump appears to be going south -- locking works sometimes, other times it doesn't. When it doesn't, I'll hear a clicking sound coming from under passenger side dash and my headlights/taillights will flash as if the alarm has been triggered. (no horn sound though) Until I solve the vacuum pump problem, is there a way to disable the alarm system, save removing the "C" fuse? It's getting very annoying having to drive with my lights on, to keep them from blinking. TIA!

Lock alarm problem
Hi,
Have you checked the floor under the front passenger carpeting for water damage? The alarm ecu is down there under a plastic panel. Also check connections at the vacuum pump under the rear seat right side, in a foam enclosure. Hope this helps, Acky |
