92 300E Dirty start

I have a 92 300E 2.6 with 174,000 miles that has dirty starts. What I mean by dirty starts, Is that it doesn't start fast and strong as it should and it's kinda like a uneven start. It sounds like it wants to start quick then dies down Like it's lacking fuel then after that it starts. It doesn't do it if you turn the car off and re-start it or if the car has sat up to 15min it starts good only during those times. Sometimes I have to start it twice like it doesn't catch the first time but it almost does. The car has always started for me. Work done to car: spark plugs, rotor and cap, OVP relay, new fuel injectors with seals, 2 new Bosch fuel pumps, fuel accumulator, fuel filter, voltage regulator, new battery, air filter, new vacuum hoses, used EHA, old one was leaking, new temp sensor. I think that covers everything, what would be causing this HARD DIRTY start? It's been extremely annoying. Other than that I love the car and has been very reliable. Gets good fuel mileage, doesn't use oil, spark plugs look great, all plugs look the same.

It only takes one spec of dirt to ruin those injectors. I would try a bottle of redline fuel system cleaner , if that doesn’t work try new injectors again.

Not starting the first time in the am can be valve seals. Using a lot of oil? Plug insulators getting crusty one side only. I'm not saying this is some of the other scenarios you mentioned; but, if the double start is cold, consider valve seals and plugs.
Good luck!!!
Just reread and saw doesn't use oil...you sure it's a 103?

Yes it is a 103, I've had several 103's in the past and they all have used oil. This one doesn't use a drop I never have to add oil and it never drops on the dipstick. This surprised me too, this is the nicest one I've had. The engine doesn't run rich by the look of the plugs and I don't lose coolant either. So there is nothing getting added to the oil, so by those things yes it doesn't use oil. This start issue isn't a cold start issue it does it all day long. The only time it doesn't do it is when you re-start it up to 15min of sitting, during those times it starts perfect. I have put 13,000 miles on this car in 7 months

jsain86, what is the condition of the ignition wires? You left them off your list of replacement parts.

Just sorted my m103 out after 3 years .Replaced most parts with no real change .Till the last job was replaced the engine temperature sensor . And then i replaced the valve cover seal due to an oil leak .The oil was getting on to the spark plugs and burning off. And then i did a full clean out all the rubbish in the top along with the baffle plate thats fixed to the valve cover top with three bolts .do clean out the small bore pipe on the baffle plate as you have it it off .The valve cover as 2 holes in the side one is very small if it blocks up it restricts the breathing of the engine .That and a full tank of fuel along with petrol inector cleaner, i must say this did work for me. Thats if your plugs leads and distributor along with rotor arm are all good to start with ..

I have changed the engine temp sensor and replaced the valve cover gasket and the hole was clear with no blockage. Could this be a fuel mixture issue?

Have you used any fuel injector cleaner in the tank .I might clean out the injectors .Try this .First start of the day Turn on the ing key dont start the engine , wait 5 seconds turn it off Then turn key again , dont start the engine , ,then off., do this three times and see what she starts like then .If she strts faster then you have a weak fuel pump.

Why are you asking for advice and just ignoring the answers you don’t like?

Injectors can go bad after 1 tank of dirty fuel. Period. I doesn’t matter how new they are. Your symptoms are that of a classic leaky injector. Try a bottle of redline fuel system cleaner, you can buy it on amazon for $10. If that doesn’t solve it then buy new injectors again.
