What is it??
The orange disk that is seated under the ignition rotor of my 560 is cracked. I would assume that it is some sort of insulator and should be intact for best performance. In searching through the FastLane inventory, i see nothing that it could be. Any idea what it is called and whether a new one can be bought (without buying a new distributor)? Thanks...

Thanks for the help Steve!!
That's the one. Part number doesn't come up in the Fastlane or Part Shop data base, so i'll shoot an e-mail to Phil tomorrow. I would assume that it's some sort of insulator and should be intact and clean. Might be nothing, but it can't hurt to have one without a crack if i can find it.

If not your MB dealer should be able to get it with that number. Can't be much money.

Yeah, looks inexpensive. Mine was really brittle, and a friend lifted it without being gentle. Just sent a message to Phil, i'll post the outcome for reference.
Read in another thread that You're down with the flu or a cold. Hope You feel better soon!!
