Harmonic Balancer part # for AMG E55
I tried this question in the Crankshaft Balancer Failure thread but with no response. So I am trying here to see if someone can help me.
Please help!!! My balancer # does not match any of the ones mentioned in the thread. I have a 2000 E55, manufactured in 12/99. M113 engine. The part # on my balancer is different than any I have seen on these threads. It is 113 035 01 00 there is a little space and then also reads 12 01. Could someone please let me know if this is an updated part or one of the original problematic ones? Thank you. |

The 113-035-01-00 is the correct replacement number.
The original(bad) numbers were "WA"-113-035-01-00 OR 113-035-00-00

Thank you for your response, I appreciate it, but I am also a little confused. How can 113-035-01-00 be the correct replacement number and also be one of the original (bad) numbers??

Mercedes number 113-035-01-00 VS WA-113-035-01-00 is the difference. See the original number had a WA prefix!!!
A part number with a WA prefix indicates a "special" part for AMG cars only!!
