going further, this topic can venture into the realm of biodiesel - one of the best answers for hydrocarbon indenpendence. imagine, not ethanol blended with crude oil, but canola oil, grown entirely in the usa, fueling your common rail diesel.

Very good, and biofuel made from hemp seed oil is even better, yelding more product per acre than canola. See
www.canadianhemp.com, I think thats it, Manitoba and Suscatchuawan(sp?) have started growing commercial hemp. Do a search, support industrial hemp.
